Season with salt pepper and lemon juice - and set aside. Add all the paste ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. Heat oil in a saute pan large enough for the whole recipe. The curry can be made without adding the yoghurt up to a day ahead.

  3. Add chicken pieces into the masala. Stir well and cook till they are golden brown. Add Meat Masala and cook for 1 minute
  4. Add 1/2 cup of water and stir. Cover with a lid and let it simmer till the chicken is cooked.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.

Reheat gently to serve and stir in the yoghurt. The curry also freezes well without the yoghurt. Simply reheat as above when needed.
