The ingredients needed to make Chicken Parmesan:
  1. Take 1 pound boneless skinless chicken (breast or tenders)
  2. Prepare 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  3. Make ready 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  4. Make ready 2 eggs
  5. Make ready 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  6. Make ready 2 cups shredded cheese (mozerella or pizza blend)

Place bread crumbs and cheese in another shallow bowl. Stir the oil and herbs in a small bowl to blend. Brush both sides of the cutlets with the herb oil. Pound the chicken thin: Place the chicken cutlets one at a time between two layers of plastic wrap or wax paper.

  1. Mix eggs with a fork. In a separate container mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  2. Pound out chicken to approximately 3/4 of an inch thick. Dip each piece of chicken in eggs (cover both sides completely) and the into bread crumb mixture.
  3. In a shallow baking dish pour 1/2 a jar of sauce on the bottom. Place each coated piece of chicken on top of sauce.
  4. Bake uncovered for 20 mins at 350F
  5. After baking for 20 minutes pour additional sauce on top of chicken and top with shredded cheese. Bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
  6. Serve with spaghetti!
